Statement Prime Minister Republic of Mauritius Message International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People 2025.

On the occasion of the solemn commemoration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, I wish to convey, on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Mauritius, our good wishes to the Government and People of the State ofPalestine and our full support to the legitimate cause of the Palestinian people. Mauritius reiterates its unwavering commitment to upholding the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination. Mauritius remains steadfast in its support for a comprehensive, just, and durable solution, based on the relevant United Nations resolutions and on the internationally endorsed vision of a Two-State solution - with an independent and viable State of Palestine, livingside by side in peace and security with the State of Israel. We urge the international community to continue to exert all efforts towards advancing the prospects of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East founded on the principles ofthe Charter of the United Nations and international law. Mauritius commends the efforts to implement the New York Declaration adopted in July2025. We are hopeful that the United Nations Security Council resolution 2803 adopted in November 2025 will be an important step in the consolidation of the ceasefire and bringing a definitive end to the lingering conflict. Let us all re-commit to transforming this shared vision into a credible pathway leading to sustainable peace and stability in the region.

Dr the Hon1 Navinchandra Reang Ramgoolam, GCSK, FRCP Prime Minister.
