Statement of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia On the Occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People 2025.

Kingdom of Cambodia

On this solemn occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, I join the international community in reaffirming Cambodia's steadfast support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the inalienable right to self-determination, independence and sovereignty.

This day serves as a powerful reminder of the decades-long struggle endured by the Palestinian people and underscores the urgent need for renewed international commitment to a just, lasting, and comprehensive solution. Cambodia continues to firmly believe that peace, justice, and stability in the Middle East can only be achieved through dialogue, mutual respect, and strict adherence to international law and relevant United Nations resolutions. To that end, we remain steadfast in our support for the two-state solution, with the State of Palestine and the State of Israel living side by side in peace and security within exercise maximum restraint, cease hostilities, and resume meaningful negotiations toward a peaceful settlement that fulfills the legitimate aspirations of both peoples.
